Nuts to Oaks
Drama Workshops
with Danielle Bissonnette
Welcome!
Children are born with a natural sense of play, imagination, and talent for having fun! It is no wonder so many of them find a deep joy in drama activities. When a script is brought to life on a stage, we call it a play and actors are sometimes called players. The art of play, is at the very heart of theater. We play pretend to tell stories that can make the audience laugh, cry, and think. A good story told well can change a person's world. The benefits and changes go beyond the stage for the actors as well, as they acquire and hone skills such as emotional intelligence, critical thinking, creative expression and self-confidence (to name a few). There are just so many ways the art of drama can make our lives more rich and beautiful, and aid in the realization of our dreams. Read more about that by clicking > WHY DRAMA?
